Se une a la regi\u00f3n Fc de inmunoglobulinas de varias especies con alta afinidad. Hay cuatro sitios de uni\u00f3n para los anticuerpos, pero solo dos de ellos pueden usarse simult\u00e1neamente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los conjugados de prote\u00edna A son \u00fatiles en la detecci\u00f3n indirecta de ant\u00edgenos inmovilizados en un soporte s\u00f3lido o en muestras de tejido. En estos ensayos, se agrega un anticuerpo de detecci\u00f3n no marcado a la fase s\u00f3lida y luego se cuantifica el inmunocomplejo formado con un conjugado de prote\u00edna A. Los conjugados de prote\u00edna A pueden usarse para la detecci\u00f3n indirecta de inmunocomplejos en inmunoensayos de tipo s\u00e1ndwich, siempre que se usen fragmentos Fab en lugar de mol\u00e9culas de anticuerpo completas para recubrir la fase s\u00f3lida. La afinidad de la prote\u00edna A por las inmunoglobulinas depende de la clase de inmunoglobulina y de la especie. Por ejemplo, la afinidad es baja para los anticuerpos monoclonales IgG1 de rat\u00f3n y alta para los anticuerpos policlonales humanos y de conejo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El conjugado poliHRP-prote\u00edna A MegaWox\u2122 est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para brindar la m\u00e1s alta sensibilidad y bajo fondo en inmunoensayos donde el volumen de la muestra es limitado o cuando la mol\u00e9cula objetivo est\u00e1 presente en niveles bajos. El conjugado de prote\u00edna A-poli-HRP se purifica para eliminar las mol\u00e9culas de prote\u00edna A no conjugadas que compiten por los sitios de uni\u00f3n con sus conjugados de HRP.
