En general, el cobalto exhibe la mayor especificidad de uni\u00f3n de los iones met\u00e1licos IMAC com\u00fanmente utilizados, lo que conduce a rendimientos relativamente bajos pero de alta pureza. El cobre, en el otro extremo del espectro, tiene una alta afinidad que conduce a altos rendimientos pero a una uni\u00f3n inespec\u00edfica. Las perlas de Cu-NTA solo tienen una tolerancia DTT muy limitada. Sin embargo, puede regenerarlos para recuperar su funcionalidad.
