Descripción

Los isómeros únicos de ROX se prefieren cada vez más para marcar péptidos y nucleótidos porque brindan una mejor resolución en las purificaciones de HPLC que a menudo se requieren en las bioconjugaciones. Las proporciones variables de los isómeros 5 y 6 a menudo causan complicaciones en la interpretación de los resultados del etiquetado y el rendimiento del ensayo. 5-ROX se usa predominantemente para marcar péptidos y proteínas. En comparación con otras rodaminas, ROX es muy inestable. Se deben tomar precauciones para evitar el deterioro durante el almacenamiento.
